All of Ellen Hopkins' books are really enjoyable, simply because they're honest, down to earth, and serious in a good way.

First off, it's written in verse or prose or whatever Ellen writes in, and it's FANTASTIC. It's serious and down to earth and realistic and sad, but it also had it's happy moments and the moments that made me laugh. The ending made me both cry and celebrate a bit.

The title, however, is totally off. There isn't anything about 'burning' in the novel at all... but that's the only problem with it.

Overall Rating: 10/10
Burned or I Heart You, You Haunt Me?: Looking for a happy ending? Take IHY,YHM. Burned is a 'real life' fiction, and therefore, no happy endings... but much better written and more enjoyable and an all around better book.
