Daine's beginning to get a tighter hold on her magic, and that's perfect - because the wolf pack she used to run with has called her and her mentor, Numair, back. Dunlath's people are destroying the forest and mining where there shouldn't be mines - and the local animals want it stopped. Daine has to learn to run with the wolves again, and fly with eagles, and prance with squirells, and do all sorts of other things with various other woodland animals - and perhaps become friends with some immortals along the way.

Anyway...
I liked this book as well as the first but, besides the small changes in the characters, everything remains the same - enjoyable, not exactly original, but lovable nonetheless.
Wild Magic or Wicked Lovely?: Once again, two completely different books, so it comes down to which one I enjoyed more - and sorry, Tamora, but Wicked Lovely wins that round.
