The Iron Queen Court Blog Tour: Summer Court

This giveaway is over.

My name is Meghan Chase.

I thought it was over. That my time with the fey, the impossible choices I had to make, the sacrifices of those I loved, was behind me. But a storm is approaching, an army of Iron fey that will drag me back, kicking and screaming. Drag me away from the banished prince who's sworn to stand by my side. Drag me into the core of conflict so powerful, I'm not sure anyone can survive it.

This time, there will be no turning back.

I don't care what you've been reading over at The Story about the glory that is the Winter Court. I don't care what Pam is gonna say to support the Iron Court. The summer court is where it's at!

I mean, you don't have to listen to me. The most lovely Puck is here to tell you about why the Summer Court kicks faery ass. And if that's not enough to convince you, you could check out the other Summer Court tour stops (Page Turner's Blog & The Bookish Type) and become a fan of the Facebook page and look at Julie Kagawa's website.

Guess who!

Yup, it’s your friendly neighborhood Puckman, here to sing the praises of the Summer Court. No, really. I can sing if you want me to. I also play a mean panpipe, if you fancy a jig. Except, sometimes humans can’t stop dancing…ever…so maybe not.

Anyway, reasons the Summer Court kicks Faery butt. Well, it’s warm, for starters. Ever tried to go swimming in the Winter Court? You’d freeze your important parts off. Also, it’s not ruled by an insane monarch of an Unseelie Queen. Yeah, so Titania can be a little scary at times, and Oberon has the emotional capacity of a tape dispenser, but Mab would turn her own sons into chandeliers if she thought they were after her throne.

Moving on. Did I mention the Summer Court is warm? It’s sunny. Things actually grow there. Like flowers. And grass. And apple trees. Except you don’t want to pick apples from the orchard over the thorn fence, because the giants who own the trees get awfully cranky and want to put you in their pies. Maybe you should just go for a nice swim instead. Except, not in the pond near the court, because it’s known to have kelpies…

You know, let’s just say the Summer Court rocks because I’m there, and leave it at that.
