Here is a Fête des Mères (Mother's Day) vintage postcard:) Maman is being presented with an artichoke! This reminds me of when I was pregnant with my first little dumpling Noah. (He's 9 now:)
I craved artichokes, artichokes and more artichokes. I could never get enough of the rich perennial thistle! Hubster came home every night from work with a fresh glaucous-green leaved choke or a jar of marinated hearts. Yum!
