vintage palmolive
My parents don't have a dishwasher here (oy!) That means that I've been scrubbing mountains of dasterdly dishes with emerald green Palmolive soap. The original sudsy stuff was made with both palm and olive oil... hence the name! In 1927 the company sponsored a critically acclaimed radio concert show called 'The Palmolive Hour.' It's on youtube! I'm going to listen to it while I do the dinner dishes:)
