If this story was about anything other than fairytales, I'd be up in arms about this cover -- submissive, looks dead, stereotypical.
But this works really, really well with the subject matter -- a retelling of several traditional fairytales in one cohesive story -- and I love it. For that, it suits it really well. The font, the dress, the flowers, the decorative elaboration on around the title.
It reminds me a lot of Disney's Alice in Wonderland, actually -- which works well for this cover!
