I'm the first to admit; I'm not the biggest fan of the old covers. (The old Bloody Jack cover is over there. >) But they're classic - beautifully painted covers that captured the book perfectly. This... the girl reminds me of Jacky a little, but Jacky - in the first book - is, what, ten? And she starts off hiding her identity, and had much more tomboyish features? AND WHY IS HER HAIR IN HER FACE?!
The Curse of the Blue Tattoo one isn't so bad; I don't think Jacky would wear that outfit (well, in that book), but at least they kind of captured her personality. AND got the tattoo right.
